We would also like to thank @torontomet & @universalcreativeofficial for hosting the TMU Thrill Design Competition back in November, as well as @iaapanorthamerica where we were able to attend the expo and visit the show floor!

From Nov. 9-13th, Michigan TPEG had the honor in competing in the Toronto Metropolitan University Thrill Design Competition presented by @universalcreativeofficial . Our team of 6 multidisciplinary members competed in three technical and creative challenges where they had the opportunity to present to a panel of judges from Universal Creative and other industry partners. Heide Park is one of the largest amusement parks in Germany! Opened in 1978, the park has grown to include over 40 rides and attractions. The property also has a 1/3 scale replica of the Statue of Liberty! Some of their most unique attractions are:

•Colossos Kampf der Giganten - An intamin prefabricated wooden coaster. It was actually completely refurbished earlier this year, and we've heard it's riding better than ever!

•Flug der Dämonen - A B&M custom built wing coaster!
